  • Living in th moment.

    Cancer
    Cancer

Today, you may be expected to nurture the very same people who normally take care of you. It could bother you if you're not being appreciated for what you do now, but you still need to deliver the goods. Even if you prefer the idea of withdrawing so others notice your absence, this kind of passive resistance will surely backfire on you. It's easier in the long run to just show up and tell the truth.
Usually you enjoy talking with others, Cancer, but today you won't even want to answer the phone. Your physical stamina and mental energy are low, and you could feel out of sorts. It might help if you go for a walk sometime in the afternoon. You won't want to waste your evening lying around the house. Get the endorphins going and then go to a movie. You'll soon be your old self again

"To be brave is to love someone unconditionally, without expecting anything in return. To just give. That takes courage, because we don't want to fall on our faces or leave ourselves open to hurt."
    Madonna

"When real people fall down in life, they get right back up and keep on walking."
    Michael Patrick King

Be encouraged: It's been a week and a half since my last extensive slip in recovery.

  • We all

    Fall

    Learn the hard way:
Give up, isolate, numb, sleep high and buzzed.
    Hit another rock bottom.
Then, turn around and start over aiming for something more.
Are we living in the now or with the future in mind?

    I'm told change doesn't happen overnight;
But I feel like I got here overnight
    so that's a crap deal.

"The greatest danger to our future is apathy."
    Jane Goodall

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."
    Maria Robinson
